Democracy has three
major organs that include legislature, judiciary and the executive. This course
is about the executive branch of a democratic government. We will study it in
the context of current practices in western countries particularly. We will
understand how the executive branch in Pakistan manages the Public affairs in
our local context, through an applied approach to learning. Newspaper reading
and following talk shows on national channels would be of particular
importance.
